Pecos County Southside Fire Station
Owner: Pecos County
Architect: JSA Architects
Project Size: 10,000 sf
Location: Fort Stockton, Texas
OPREX Construction delivered a 10,000-square-foot, ground-up fire station for Pecos County using a pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) system. Designed in collaboration with JSA Architects, the facility was built to support day-to-day operations for emergency response, with a layout tailored to the functional needs of fire personnel.
Constructed in a remote area of West Texas, the project required strong coordination of subcontractors, materials, and logistics to keep the job moving efficiently. Despite the challenges of location, OPREX maintained schedule, upheld quality standards, and ensured consistent communication with the County throughout the build.
The successful execution of this project led to continued partnership with Pecos County, resulting in repeat business and reinforcing OPREX’s reputation for delivering reliable projects in demanding environments.
